One of our favorite author is Eric Carle. We have been reading his books from the time R was little. His books has some kind of magic that both of my kids were naturally drawn to them. We found this book in M’s playgroup and checked it out to go with our farm theme
Materials needed:
- Cut up Brown yarn
- Artificial Grass tile( got mine from Christmas tree shop)
- Melissa & Doug Farm Animals and fence
- Spider ( you could get in dollar tree)
Cutting the brown yarn was the only tedious process in making this bin. But its the perfect sensory substitute for spider web.
The farm animals were tough to stand on the grass tile but with the fence I managed to make them stay. The kids loved to see the book characters in real and played with it well.
